FAQ
What is Flat-Rate Pricing?
Nearly all of the home electrical services we offer come with a flat-rate price. This means, before you agree to start the work, you’ll know exactly what the price will be. This takes the guess work out of open ended estimates and keeps you from be surprised by a high bill.
What is a fast quote?
How much is your time worth? Most electricians, schedule a time to visit your house and either provide a quote on-site or send you one once they get back to the office.
Our simple-to-use fast quote system, gives you the ability to provide key information and photos to us right from your phone or tablet. We’ll take the information you provide, and typically within 2 business days or less provide you with an estimate you can sign digitally and immediately schedule your install.
Our fast quote process, puts an end to staying home from work or coordinating your busy schedule to meet with a technician to get an estimate.
How can you provide an accurate estimate without visiting my house?
Our fast quotes have been specifically designed to collect all of the important information that we need to provide you an accurate estimate. Combined with our flat-rate pricing you’ll know exactly what price you’ll pay before agreeing to the work.
90% of the time, the info you provide using our fast quote will be accurate, however, occasionally, there will be unforeseen issues that our technician won’t see. On the day of your repair/installation our tech will first do a walk through to ensure the your repair/installation is within in the scope provided in the estimate. If for some reason, the price we provided needs to change, our tech will provide you with a new estimate on-site and you can approve or decline. If you decline, you won’t be charged for the visit.
Is the price on see on my estimate the final price I'll see on the invoice?
Yes, if you receive an estimate for any of our EV charging or Home Electrical Services from us. The price you see, is the price you will be billed.
Important to note, if our technician gets on site and has to change the original estimate due to inaccurate information provided in a fast quote or other unforeseen issues – They will revise your estimate and get your authorization before beginning.
Also, occasionally in special circumstances we will lower your final invoice if a project takes significantly less time than expected. This is at our sole discretion. While we could potentially give you a invoice that is less than your original estimate we will NEVER give you an invoice that is higher than our original estimate without your approval.
How Do I Pay For Your Services?
For repairs and projects under $1500, you can pay via cash, check, or credit card with your technician the day of the repair or installation.
For projects over $1500 – a 50% deposit is required to start the project. This 50% allows us to order material and get the necessary permits needed to begin your projects. The remaining 50% will be due the day the installation is complete.
What is a diagnostic fee?
Nearly all of our home electrical services are flat-rate pricing. This means you’ll know the price up-front before work begins. One of the exceptions to this is troubleshooting. Tripping breakers, flickering lights, etc. can be caused from a variety of causes. In order to determine the cause, we charge a diagnostic fee.
This diagnostic fee is $85 per hour. Once we discover the cause of the issue – we will provide an on-site estimate before proceeding to fix the issue. If you approve, we’ll begin work and the diagnostic fee will be applied to your final invoice. If you decide to wait, we will only bill the diagnostic fee and you’ll have 6 months to apply that diagnostic fee to your repair.
